With more than 30 years of experience in public health and pathogen related fields, Morris’ initiatives include work with vector-borne diseases such as malaria, West Nile, equine encephalitis, blue-tongue and citrus greening. His studies range from basic work on evolutionary genetics to use of real-world data and bioinformatics to develop predictive mathematical models for disease transmission within populations.
