Swarup Bhunia is currently the preeminence professor of cybersecurity and Semmoto endowed chair at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. He serves as the director of the Warren B. Nelms Institute of the Connected World. He has over twenty years of research and development experience in the field of hardware and systems security and low-power reliable microelectronics. He specializes in internet of things, wearables, smart devices and systems, food and medicine safety, hardware security, etc.
