Biography

Consuelo Kreider's research focuses on expanding equitable access to rehabilitation, education, and community participation for underserved populations, including rural veterans and neurodiverse college students. She investigates barriers to healthcare, independent living, and social participation, developing practical, scalable, and research-based strategies that enhance well-being. Her work also explores how neurodiverse individuals navigate and succeed in educational and professional environments, applying universal design for learning to enhance accessibility. Using qualitative and mixed-method approaches, she bridges research with real-world practice to create sustainable interventions that improve outcomes across healthcare, education and community settings.
