Clay Calvert

Brechner Eminent Scholar in Mass Communication and the director of the Marion B. Brechner First Amendment Project. Calvert is an expert and scholar on First Amendment issues. He has authored or co-authored more than 150 law journal articles on topics related to freedom of expression, has published numerous articles in mainstream media commenting on First Amendment issues currently in the news and has been quoted frequently.​

Frank LoMonte

Executive Director, Joseph L. Brechner Center for Freedom of Information, a non-profit educational center addressing issues around freedom of information, libel, privacy, prior restraints, “Sunshine” laws, access to courts and other First Amendment issues. LoMonte was the former executive director of the Student Press Law Center and specializes in issues around freedom of information, First Amendment and Media Law.

Jasmine McNealy

Jason P. Nance

Professor of Law, University of Florida Levin College of Law. He writes and teaches in the areas of racial inequalities in the public education system, school discipline, implicit racial bias, the school-to-prison pipeline, and students’ constitutional rights, including students’ First Amendment rights.
