Roxane Coche specializes in sports media and media pedagogy. Starting her career as a sports reporter and television reporter in her hometown of Paris, France, she has worked many major international sporting events including the 2010 and 2016 Olympic Games.

Infectious Diseases
Benjamin Anderson’s expertise includes using pathogen discovery and novel surveillance techniques to study emerging infectious diseases, zoonotic diseases and viral respiratory pathogens. He can speak on bird flu.

Kiki Kaplanidou researches the influence of mega- and small-scale sport event hosting on community development goals such as destination image improvements, sport event participation, and quality of life of local residents. Kaplanidou has conducted research for the International Olympic Committee related to the legacy of the Olympic Games and several sport related organizations and has experience working with the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Yong Jae Ko’s primary interest is sport consumers research in a variety of business segments, such as event sponsorship/athlete endorsement, branding, technology/e-business, and CSR and nonprofit business sector.

Sports Medicine
Dr. Jay Clugston is the team physician for the University of Florida Athletic Association. His research interests are focused on concussion management, and he is the principal investigator for several ongoing concussion research studies.

Dr. Kevin Vincent serves as the lead clinician for the UF Health partnership with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, the director of the UF Running Medicine Clinic and the medical director of the UF Health Sports Performance Center. Dr. Vincent’s clinical interests are running medicine, sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine with particular emphasis on running, overuse injuries and participation in strength training.

Heather Vincent conducts fitness testing, body composition, nutrition and exercise programming and physiologic performance for athletes and artistic sport. She is the director of the UF Health Sports Performance Center, director of the UF Exercise Medicine and Functional Fitness Laboratory and conducts injury prevention and exercise research for athletes and active people of all ages and functional abilities.

Dr. Jason Zaremski will be a team physician for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. He is an expert on upper extremity and throwing related injuries.

Dr. Katie Edenfield serves as a team physician for the UF Athletic Association and for USA Swimming for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. She has previously served as team physician at multiple World Championships, World Junior Championships, and Pan American Games. Dr. Edenfield is also involved in various sports and sports cardiology-related projects.
