Sustainable Food Systems partnered with like-minded peers and the World Health Organization (WHO) for first-ever estimates of the global burden of food-borne diseases. The study showed that almost 1 in 10 people fall ill every year from eating contaminated food and 420,000 die as a result – statistics our dedicated UF faculty experts are using to make discoveries that are benefiting the world.... read more
